Kerala State Lottery – Karunya KR
The Kerala Lottery “Karunya KR” draw is one of the seven weekly lucky draws conducted by the Kerala State Lottery Department.
It takes place every Saturday at 3:00 PM.
Each lottery is identified by an alphanumeric code, and for Karunya, the code is “KR,” followed by the draw number.
For the current draw, “Karunya KR-636,” the first prize winner will receive a bumper prize of ₹80 Lakh.

In 1967, all private lotteries were banned, and the Government of Kerala introduced the Kerala State Lotteries. The initiative was led by the then Finance Minister, P. K. Kunju, who played a key role in establishing this system.He had prior experience in conducting lotteries during his tenure as the Chairman of the Kayamkulam MSM Trust. This experience helped in successfully launching a transparent and government-regulated lottery system in the state.
